1. Identity of the Data Controller

Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), Kistas Sworn Translation and Language Services ("Kistas Translation" or "Company"), acting as the data controller, processes, preserves, and protects your personal data in full compliance with the law and principles of good faith.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your collected personal data (identity, contact details, information present in documents submitted for translation, quotation and transaction records) are processed pursuant to Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the following purposes:

• Execution and management of sworn translation, notary certification, apostille, and corporate language services,
• Preparation of price quotations, order tracking, and customer relationship management,
• Invoicing, accounting, and compliance with financial obligations,
• Fulfillment of legal obligations before official authorities, notaries, and judicial bodies,
• Ensuring web security, information security standards, and operational quality.

3. To Whom and for What Purposes Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred, strictly to the extent necessary and limited to the purposes listed above, to:

• Our sworn translation staff and editors (under confidentiality obligations),
• Authorized Notary Publics and Apostille issuing authorities when certification is required,
• Legally authorized public institutions, courts, and enforcement agencies,
• Contracted courier and delivery companies for physical document deliveries,

Under no circumstances is your personal data shared or transferred to third parties for commercial advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection

Your personal data is collected through quotation and contact forms on our website, email, telephone, WhatsApp support channel, or physical documents delivered to our offices via automated or non-automated methods.

The legal grounds for processing such data under Article 5/2 of the KVKK are: necessity for the establishment and performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations of the data controller, and legitimate interests of our Company, without prejudice to your fundamental rights and freedoms.
